The Pelpro Mini Slimline Pellet Stove

The Pelpro Mini slimline pellet stove is a scaled down version of Pelpro's Home Heater. It has rather nice proportions. Designed to heat either a small home, or a room, the Mini produces 30,000 btu. and will heat a space of 1,200 square feet.

The Pelpro Mini has all the features of the larger stoves in a small economical package

To transfer its heat while maintaining a small footprint, this unit has a double row stainless steel heat exchanger and a large convection fan for the size of stove.

This stove comes thermostat ready and can either be run in high/low or on/off modes. See comments below.

Decor options are minimal, but the brass or nickel door trim does provide an attractive highlight.

Comments

The air damper must be adjusted manually to suit the burn rate.

If using an optional thermostat in on/off mode, there are concerns that the life of the igniter may be shortened through increased use.

This stove has no ash pan or ash drawer. Ash must be scooped out by hand.

Maintenance

Every two or three days

Clean the burn grate and burn pot, clean the heat exchanger tubes, empty the ash.

Every one or two tons of fuel

Check the door gasket, clean the air intake, combustion and convection fans, check the hopper for a build up of fines, clean out the stove ash traps.

Yearly

Inspect and clean the flue vent, vacuum the hopper.
