The first four minute video from Ireland gives an overview of the entire wood pellet making process from tree to pellet. It uses Irish spruce as the example, but the method is the same for any species of timber.

This next pellet mill video is from an American company, Buskirk Engineering, who make a range of small pellet mills, and a neat little hammer mill, in the USA. The four minute video demonstrates making pellets from wheat straw in one of their machines.

This ten minute video from Pellet Pros shows a number of their wood pellet mills in action. Pellet Pros import the machines and fit them with American motors. Using a cement mixer to add water evenly is interesting, but I wouldn't use a mixer that has had cement in it. Any grit could really wear the dies out.

On a larger scale,SPC, ( Sweden Power Chippers) make a range of wood pellet presses from, 500 to 2000pounds an hour, that are designed to automatically process waste sawdust from your factory into wood pellets. The only human involvement is in filling the bags and handling them when full.
